Blogging is important

As working in Digital Marketing industry for the past 10 years, I have grown up reading and learning from the blogs written by many folks within the industry. What I have also noticed is that for the past couple of years, people are more into making vlogs than blogs. Vlogs make things much more easier to understand, it's more interactive and engaging too.

I personally feel like blogs are still important and we will discuss why I feel so:

Knowledge Sharing

The first and foremost point of blogging is, or it should be knowledge sharing. You can blog about something you know about or something you have implemented something which you have learnt from other bloggers and what were the results.

Fresh Content

Blogging brings fresh content to your website, which is considered as good from SEO perspective. Consistent fresh content to the website helps in increasing crawl rate, and hence it is considered as a ranking signal by all Search Engines.

Inbound Links

As we all know links are considered as equally important ranking signal when compared to content. Websites with a blog section gets the option to naturally place the inbound links without the worry of page quality.

Trustworthiness

A blog is considered as the human angle of a website, it also creates a space where we can interact with our customers or the audience who are interested in our niche. So it is considered as consistent blogs create trustworthiness.

Increase Conversion Rates & Traffic

With the help of all the above points , you will be getting traffic from folks who are interested in the content of your niche and thereby the chances of conversion increases.
